This Heavy-Duty Flatbed Trolley with Deadman Brake is based on our Premium Platform Trucks Range but features an easy-to-use Deadman braking system integrated in the handle. With the Deadman brake facility, the brake is positively always applied, until the operator makes the conscious decision to press down on the handle which will release the brake. So, in the unlikely event that the operator was to lose control, slip trip or fall, the operator will be your only concern as the trolley will automatically come to a stop, even on a slope, reducing risk to the public or colleagues. Built around our laser cut frames, which we create the base from one single piece of box section with just the one weld. This system produces beautifully rounded corners, which not only are safer around people than standard mitred corners but also provide the facility to add posts and sides to the trolley even as a retrospective fit. Mounted on our hard-wearing crumb rubber tyre, which even under braking still provide a long life.
