Add-ons and Extras
Amber Beacons
Flashing Amber Beacons are a FAB little upgrade that is becoming increasingly more popular, with a choice of either 2 x front facing beacons, or 4 around pulsating beacons, and are a favoured health and safety upgrade for the trolleys. If you are operating around the public in very busy pedestrian areas or where the operator maybe around heavy traffic such as cars, forklift trucks, or other electric pedestrian equipment, this upgrade almost becomes essential, ensuring the maximum visibility of the trolley. We also offer an upgrade to an upright beacon post for even greater visibility.
Weather-Resistant Cover
If you are planning on using your trolley outside, then our premium weather-resistant cover is a must! The cover can be bespoke made to any size and shape of trolley and is designed to protect both the trolley itself and the load of the trolley from harsh weather environments. The cover does exactly as its name suggests, with easy access roll over panels making entry into the trolley quick and easy while still protecting the load from the elements. Additionally, the heavy duty 160gsm Tarp offers extra security, hiding valuable or sensitive loads from prying eyes.
Branded Covers
If you have decided that a waterproof cover is great for you, you may want to consider branded covers. Branded covers are great for adding that personal touch with options for logo branding, identification and labelling, adding customer messages, or even safety information. Whatever you want to get across to you customers and visitors, this is an extraordinarily high impact way to achieve that. These trolleys turn heads at the best over times, so why not get your message out there while they are looking with full colour printed logos?
Alternatively, you may want to offer this as advertising space, enabling you to save costs by allowing suppliers to sponsor the cost of a trolley in exchange for displaying their branding on the trolley.
Corner Bumpers
Corner bumpers come in a range of shapes and sizes or different uses. Our standard non-marking corner bumpers are simple but effective, wrapping around the corner of the bumpers to protect scuffs and scrapes on the trolley or your walls. While all our standard trolleys already feature specially designed rounded corners to reduce damage of impacts, these simple bumpers can reduce this even further still.
Doughnut Corner Bumpers
An alternative to the standard bumper that is more popular for equipment frequently going into public environments such as schools and hospitals are the non-marking doughnut bumpers. These bumpers extend out from the corners of the trolley and give a much larger clearance to protect the wheels and provide even greater impact resistance.
D-Fender Corner Bumper
The toughest corner bumper we offer is the DEFENDER bumper, a heavy duty rubber bumper available as a full-surround bumper that provides the ultimate bumper protection.
Warning Horn
If your trolley is frequently being used in public, you may want to add an audible warning horn. These handle-fitted warning horns feature 5 tone alerts designed to warn pedestrian and colleges in the vicinity of the trolley when moving. Ideal for letting a sound out as you are coming up to blind corners or when you are warning other vehicles of your presence, this really is a must in busy and crowded places. Base Material Options
18mm Weatherproof Plywood
Our standard base is an 18mm weatherproof plywood. Tough, durable, and able to take a huge impact force, This board is also very easy to replace long term. As one of the best all-round, all-purpose bases, there's a reason we offer board as standard for almost every trolley in our range.
A new addition to our range is our premium quality 12mm recycled black plastic stock board, helping save the environment as well as offering a durable texture
We have even produced oil sump bund trays with built-in drainage taps on our powered trolley units, offering a safe and clean method of transporting chemicals, oils, and lubricants.
18mm Phenolic Laminated Board
Due to its popularity in our Premium Plus range, the 18mm Phenolic Board base has the same durable qualities as standard ply, but is layered with a more resistant non-slip surface and finished in black for that sleek finish, the laminated finish offers additional protection against the elements.
6mm High Impact Polypropylene
6mm High Impact Polypropylene is a brilliant low friction material for when loads are frequently being slid on or off the base of the trolley. This material is also extremely light, easy to clean, a has a beautiful look, making it ideal for clean environments. Don't let its thickness fool you, as it is just as tough as the other base materials and still boasts a high UDL capacity.
4.5mm Aluminium Chequered Plate
4.5mm Aluminium Chequered Plate is light, durable. It also features a patterned surface which offers fantastic grip, and thanks to its material, this base won’t deteriorate with the weather. Aluminium checker plate really is the toughest of the lot, which is why this base is recommended for trolleys that will receive the heaviest of abuse, making sure you get the absolute best from your trolley.
Paint/Finish Options
As standard, all our powered trolleys are finished to perfection in a heavy coat of an epoxy powder coat in our classic safety yellow. You can also choose from a selection of our standard colours including Facility Grey, Mailbox Red, the classic Trolley Blue, or black at no extra charge. Alternatively, you can have you own colour match to exactly match your corporate image at an additional cost.
The trolleys can also be finished in either BZP Bright Zinc Electro Plated or galvanised hot zinc dipped finish for more corrosive environments, or even full stainless, 304 grade or 316 for pharma, food, oil industries, or environments where ATEX Zone 1 may be an absolute must.
Wheel Options
As with all our ranges, every trolley is available on a wide range of wheel and castors materials ensuring that all our trolleys are mounted on the right wheels for you, your environment, and the load. Brackets as standard are available as BZP however stainless brackets and bearings are available for applications that require it.
The drive wheels are pneumatic as standard and can be upgraded to polyurethane puncture proof or grey non marking pneumatic tyres.
