Mesh Sides (DMS)

Mesh Panel Sides provide the same retaining features of a Turn Steel Side, while allow vision into the trolley, helpful when you have sides which are higher than the operator, or to reduce the operating weight of the unit.

Wooded Side panel kit are the most cost effective way to retain your loads, treated 18mm ply wood, offer a cheap solution.

Epoxy Powder Coated Finishes.

Our trolleys and hand trucks, are all finished in baked on powder coated finish, this dramatically increase the life duration of the units even in arduous industrial applications. The powder coated finish leave a beautiful flat finish, no brush strokes, no patches just a lon long lasting covering that will help resist rust. We offer as standard 7 basic colours as shown below ( + White), however if you have a RAL code for your corperate colours then we can colour match these also so that you fleet of trolleys show you corperate identification. We can also offer many units in our range with a galvanised finish, zinc plated finish, and also some in alloy.

Size Options , how, what, and why does this matter ?

There are many important factors to take into account when choosing your trolleys. Let’s start with the most important things, so that you can start to build a picture of what you need and what benefits the changes in product specification will give you.1 - The Operator. As with all your decision within the day to day running of the business, you must take into account the person that will be doing the work, this sometimes means you will need to purchase different equipment for different people. How tall are they? how physically strong are they? what sex are they? and are there any physical impairments that you need to consider? these are the most important starting questions before you should even be thinking of the colour.
2 - The Load. Our sack barrows and trolleys are supplied all over the world, and the basic reason is simple....... to move a load from a to b.......... but there are many consequential effect of doing this job............ it makes the job safer, quicker, less work and more efficient. So take into account some of the following questions. What size is the load? the carrier (sack truck or trolley) needs to be 2/3rd of the length and the width of the load that you are carrying this ensures stability of the load and the safety. What is the shape of the load? can you shape the truck or trolley to the load, or will it need retention straps to secure it. Is the load Liquid or unstable in any way? This would seem sill but if you were to be moving a half full bucket of water, and the stop...... the water will continue to travel forward, adjusting the load cent er or cent ers of gravity, if this is not considered it may mean spilling your load.
3 - The Conditions, The conditions have many varying effects, firstly think of the ground conditions, this will help you decide which wheels will be requires, the rougher the ground the bigger the wheel. What is the temperature that you sack trucks and trolleys will be working at? in cold stores for instance we can make certain adaptation to ensure that you get maximum life from your wheels, and the handle configurations are correct for the user with gloves on.
If you consider the above when making you decisions, the chances are that you will save a lot more money than our equipment would ever cost you, and that your colleagues are safe, and you don't hear from the solicitors

Material Options

The basic frames for our flatbed trolleys, box and mesh trolleys, dollys and turntable trucks are made wherever possible from single piece steel. We use a £2 million state of the art single side laser cutter to retain the single piece method. This increases the strength of our steels, and reduces the amount of welding required, and reducing the likelihood of human error in the manufacturing process. Angle iron/steel is notched rather than mitered, again to increase strength. This also provides a very aesthetic finish to the corners making them safer & more adaptable.For side panel, we can offer many type of infill material below is a selection.

Handle-IT Manufactured, 4 off 2.5 tone turntable trolleys for Carillion Build, one of the UK's premier building companies, to move bulk packs of plasterboard, the trolley was made to the same size as the plasterboard pack, so the delivery lorry can just HIAB the load straight onto the trolley and move to situ.
Handle-iT Manufactured and designed these very clever waste carriers for one of our distributors customers. With opening sides and roof to be towed around site segregating waste into it grouping for recycling and disposal. We have now achieved over a dozen separate contract to supply this type of waste carrier to the likes of the Brunel Room Swindon, Constellation Europe and Toyota, amongst others

Handle-iT Designed and manufactured all the newspaper stand trolleys for both associated New and News International, London Lite & London Today. I'm not sure why we are proud of this, as the whole city of London must hate us for helping. But truly a good performance by us producing 1200 all together in a 6 week period.
Handle-iT designed alongside BL Flooring this very helpful carpet carrier with adjustable tube pistons on the back to support the load, the two back swivel castors help move the trolley from a 90˚ position to a 60˚ position helping the operator with load up to 400kg. We now manufacture this for BL Flooring as a sole UK distributor.
London Lite Paper Trolley
Handle-iT Work very closely for two years to developed Black & Decker Dewalt Pavement Braking Drill's support trolley, with the prototyping being carried out here in Torquay and the production runs being fulfilled through our production facility in the Far East
Handle-iT Were asked to produce a 450kg Safe Moving trolley using traditional wooden techniques which the customer wanted based on an antiquated piece of equipment that had been used by our customer for over 20 years. Producing the frame of this sack truck from beech wood offering strength with a bit of flex, the dove tail jointing in the wood produced a remarkable strong sack truck that also looks a stunning piece of equipment.

Using innovative plastics show Handle-iT desire to strive ahead of its competition. The cages below clad internally with ribbed plastic, providing runners for shelves, so that they are able to be located in the position that the user deems fit, not the trolley maker. The external plastic cladding turns both end of the stillage into a white board so that job information can be added and removed at will.
