Plymouth University approached Handle-iT to design, manufacture, and supply a hydroponics rack, with full lighting. Normally we only like things on wheels, but the customer was local and was desperate for help, so we took on the challenge. Allowing the University to grow plants that naturally would not be possible in a UK climate, and those plants then were used in the Bio-Medical department, which we hope will bring some long term benefits to the whole of the country.
