One of the UK's Leading supermarkets approached Handle-iT recently to discuss their options on buying a flatbed trolley that was light enough for their disabled staff to use but robust enough to take the strain of the stock they were trying to move.
Handle-iT's design team came up with the perfect solution: a flatbed trolley made from aluminium, vastly reducing the overall weight but also a a lightweight polypropylene base to bring the weight down even further.
The end result was exactly what the customer needed, a nice light trolley with the strength of one of our more heavy weight and heavy duty, steel flatbed trolleys.
