Sack Trucks for Rough Terrain
Rough Terrain Sack Trucks & Barrows that cope with any ground conditions, mounted on oversized wheels from 325mm (13 inches) to 400mm (16 inches) no matter whether you are on mud, grass, or loose gravel, the wheels will fly over without carving through the loose ground. Many other sack trucks and barrows named or sold rough terrain but are still mounted on standard 260mm or 10inch wheels, these are just not suitable for grass and mud. The additional friction over these ground conditions just means the wheels sink or carve into the ground. This creates a huge amount of additional force for the operator to move the loads, more over these additional forces are transferred through the chassis of the sack truck, which ultimate will cause failures in the welds. It is pointless calling it rough terrain unless something has been done to achieve the achieve this goal, Our year of experience in moving products safely tells us that a 10inch wheel is just not adequate, ours range with oversized wheels
