Precision Engineering Delivered: Stainless Steel Dolly Supplied to a Top Secret Customer

We are proud to announce the successful delivery of a bespoke stainless steel dolly to a customer that we cannot name, so get your guessing hats on!  While the specific operational application remains confidential, the project represents an example of specialist engineering meeting highly controlled and demanding environments.

Certain projects require discretion and this is most certainly one of them which makes my blog writing hard in this case!

Built for High-Specification Environments

From the outset, this dolly was designed with precision, durability, and security at its core. Manufactured entirely from high-grade stainless steel, the unit offers:

• Exceptional corrosion resistance – Ideal for controlled, sensitive, or specialist facilities.  Hygienic, easy clean surfaces support strict environmental and compliance standards.
• Robust load-bearing capability – Engineered to perform under demanding operational conditions with 1500kg rated capacity.
• Coding Certificate – Standard specified by customer and ahdered to.  Examination standards documented and provided in line with their requirements and BS EN ISO 17637:2016 

Every weld, joint, and finish was completed to an exacting standard, ensuring reliability where compromise simply isn’t an option.

Features

A standout feature of this bespoke dolly is the integrated truck lock mechanism.  4 in total on the trolley.

Truck locks provide a secure method of stabilising and anchoring the dolly during transit or stationary operations. In high-security or precision environments, unintended movement is unacceptable.  The locking system ensures controlled positioning and enhanced operational safety, reducing risks during loading and unloading for operators.

This feature was incorporated following detailed consultation and design collaboration, ensuring the final product met exact technical requirements.

Retention Straps were fitted twice on each side of the dolly to allow further security of the product to be placed on this whilst in transit.

Discretion

While we are unable to discuss the specific use case — for reasons that can fairly be described as top secret — what can be shared is the level of engineering discipline behind the project.

Supplying equipment to organisations operating at the forefront of innovation and security requires strict adherence to specification, controlled and reported manufacturing and quality assurance at every stage.

Declarations and Certificates of Conformity along with User Manuals were provided for this order.  Welding and factory inspections were also undertaken.
