Picking Trolleys with Steps, perfect for low level picking operations or where space is limited. Functioning as a traditional Picking Trolleys and Shelf Trolleys, this trolley also has a set of steps mounted to the rear that enables picking at higher heights without requiring an additional set of steps. This helps you use some more of the spaces in the air, this is space that you pay for, so you certainly should be using it. Keeping low intensity picking safe and efficient. The four-tread version will allow you to pick safely up to 2 metres in height while keeping the loads at the correct waist height, the load being able to be placed directly on the top shelf due to the clear view operator position, to enable the picker to come down from the steps with their hands free, keeping this operation totally safe. As you step on the first tread, the steps ground adding a more stable base, while the total stop brake paddles on the castor ensure further stability and braking function. When you have finished with the trolley fold the steps back up on to the top shelf, ensuring it takes up as little space as it possibly can when not in use.

Construction The basic chassis for the unit is constructed using 25.4mm tube sectioned steels, which provide great strength while keeping the overall weight down. The frames for the shelving are created from 25mm angle steel, providing great rigidity and longevity. Mounted on grey non-marking castors so that no marks are left on your floors, and finished in an oven baked powder coated finish which provides a durable yet aesthetically pleasing finish. 

Bespoke Modification These trolleys are manufactured by us here in Devon so there are no limits to the sizes and styles available. The shelf platforms are available with any number of shelves at any size and are available in more combinations than we can reasonably list online. There are also options for the shelf material in either weather-proofed plywood, sheet steel or impact resistant plastics. These trolleys can also be produced in stainless steel and plastic for pharmaceutical and food industries, or lightweight aluminium.
