This specialised Drum Lifter was recently requested by a reseller, and we at Handle-iT were happy to help! After working with the reseller and their customer to highlight their requirements, we set to work developing a 3D model using CAD. After some development, these designs were issued to the factory for assembly and manufacture.
A final layer of industrial powder coat paint in the classic safety yellow gave the cradle a tough outer shell to protect the steel from scratches and marks that would eventually lead to rust and corrosion.
The final stage was load testing. Each platform was loaded with a large drum, which in turn was filled to the top with water. All these together made a combined weight of roughly 880kg, well above the required 600kg SWL capacity.
